In 1993 my life was dull, colourless and boring. Even the dog ignored me. Then I discovered a Viz magazine ad for a Roger Mellie t-shirt. What did I have to lose? (apart from my virginity). Suddenly my life turned around. I was witty, popular attractive to girls! Wildly successful! Well that was then. Over the years Roger and I achieved a great deal together but in spite of the space-age quality with which my favourite attire was made, some of the scrapes we both got in to had a cumulative effect on both of us. Eventually I turned into a fat, balding middle-aged bloke and Roger was consigned to the t-shirt retirement village at the bottom of the draw. My life became dull, colourless and boring. And then, a miracle!! Prodded by some vague itch, reminding me of the glories that were, an online search found More T Vicar and now I am the proud owner of a new Roger Mellie t-shirt! Suddenly my jokes are witty again! I lost 35 lbs and my hair grew back! My boss gave me a promotion AND a payrise, without me even asking! The dog comes running when I get home! Young women stop me in the street and demand to have my babies! I have even noticed my wife looking at me out of the corner of her eye once or twice!
